You can export and import learning instances to move the learning instances between Document Automation environments.

Export a learning instance

Note: Ensure that you have the IQ Bot Admin role or role with the View and manage migration permission.

When you export a learning instance, a .dw file, a Control Room notification (link) is displayed which contains the learning instance configurations, including the language, provider, and fields.

  1. Navigate to AI > ドキュメント オートメーション .
  2. Hover over the actions menu (vertical ellipsis) to the right of the learning instance you want to export.
  3. Click Export.

A Control Room notification (link) is displayed, indicating that the learning instance is exported successfully.

Note: If the learning instance was using a Model connection, the Model connection data are included in the exported learning instance.
  4. Click the Control Room notification link.
  5. Click the learning instance name to download the .dw file to your local desktop.

It might take some time for the learning instance link to appear in the notification pane.

Note: The process and bots associated with the learning instance are exported separately. See プロセス オートメーションのエクスポート | bots をエクスポート.

Import a learning instance

Note: Ensure that you have the following roles and permissions:
  • AAE_Bot Developer role
  • IQ Bot Admin role or role with the View and manage migration permission
  • Bot Creator: Process recorder license
First, import the process and bots associated with the learning instance: プロセス オートメーションのインポート. If you do not import the process, Document Automation will create a new process when you import the learning instance.
Note:
  • When you import a learning instance that is using a generative AI provider, the learning instance will be imported with the generative AI provider option. However, when you edit such a learning instance, only the Anthropic Claude generative AI provider will be available. After you change to the Anthropic Claude generative AI provider, you will not be able to revert to the previously used generative AI provider.
  • Verify that the destination environment has the necessary licenses. See Automation 360 ライセンス.
  • If a previous version of the learning instance already exists in the Control Room, only the user who imported that learning instance can import a new version.
  • When you import an Azure AI Document Intelligence learning instance created in v.36 or earlier releases and includes check box rules to v.37 or later releases, you will need to add the rule value again for the check box fields after importing the learning instance.
  1. Navigate to AI > ドキュメント オートメーション , and click Import at the top of the page.
  2. Click Browse to select the learning instance.
Note: If a learning instance already exists in this environment with the same ID number, the imported learning instance overwrites the existing one.
  3. Select whether to pair the learning instance with an existing process or to create a new process.

For a new process, select one of the following options:

    • Task bot: This option is selected by default. Uses Bot Runners to perform data extraction.
    • Cloud extraction: Uses Cloud Extraction Service to perform data extraction.
Note: To use Cloud extraction, you will need to purchase the Enterprise Platform license along with the Document AI Credits.

To understand the difference between the Task bot and Cloud extraction, see Cloud Extraction Service.

  4. When you import a learning instance that includes a Model connection configuration, you will see the Include the Generative AI Model connection option to review the Model connection configuration.
    • If the learning instance does not exist and the same Model connection (Model connection with the same name, vendor, and generative AI model) is available, the Model connection is selected by default.
    • If the learning instance does not exist and the same Model connection is not available, no Model connection is selected, and you will need to select a built-in generative AI provider or a different Model connection.
    • If the learning instance and the Model connection used in the learning instance already exist, you can overwrite the learning instance.
    • If the learning instance exists but the Model connection does not exist, you will need to select a built-in generative AI provider or a different Model connection and overwrite the learning instance.
    • If the learning instance does not exist and it includes validation feedback, you will see an option to either import the learning instance with or without the validation feedback.
    • If the learning instance exists and it includes validation feedback, you will see the following options:
      • Merge validation feedback data and update learning instance
      • Replace validation feedback data and update learning instance
      • Update learning instance without validation feedback data
  5. Depending on the options you chose in the previous steps, click Import or Overwrite.
