AWS EC2 instance for Automation Anywhere Cloud Service

Automation Anywhere Cloud Service on AWS private cloud requires an EC2 instance to install the Control Room. You must launch this AWS EC2 instance in the Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) where you want to set up Automation Anywhere Cloud Service.

The AWS EC2 instance serves as the virtual machine in which you must install the Control Room. You can select a Linux-based or Windows-based instance depending on your requirement. Ensure that you launch the EC2 instance in the same region where your AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) is hosted.

The requirements for the AWS EC2 are the same as the requirements of on-premises installation. The minimum requirements are as follows:
  • c5.2xlarge or similar instance type (8 CPU, 16 GB RAM).
  • A pem type key pair for the instance.
  • 100 GB root storage
  • 200 GB additional storage for Control Room installation files.
