Partition a repository

You can partition your Git repository into separate manageable sub repositories in order to optimize performance of various operations related to repository such as check-in, check-out, and so on.

前提条件

Ensure that you are logged in as an administrator or a user with the Partition repository permission.

You can only partition your public repositories.

手順

  1. In the Control Room, navigate to Automation > Public.
  2. From your public folder, select the folder you want to partition: click the actions menu (vertical ellipsis), and select Partition as a Git folder.
  3. Click Partition as a Git folder to confirm the folder partition.
    After the folder is partitioned, it appears as a Git folder.
    ヒント: You can filter all Git folders while you search your automations in the folders.
If your repository partitioning operation fails, you can review these guidelines to help recover the state of your public repository.
If the partition operation does not complete in an hour, navigate to Audit log and search for Repository partition (request was sent to partition the repository) and Repository partition (request partition operation was completed) event types.
  • Both events are successful: Repository was partitioned successfully.
  • Repository partition request event is successful: Recover the state of your public repository.
  • Repository partition event is successful: Recover the state of your public repository.
