The Listener web trigger requires a listener URL that serves as an endpoint to receive event notifications from the external application. After you create the listener URL, add this URL as the callback URL in the integration settings of the external application.

The system auto-generates the listener URL and does not allow editing.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have the following role permissions enabled:
  • View event triggers
  • Manage event triggers
  • View and manage my event triggers

Procedure

  1. Log into the Control Room.
  2. Go to Manage > Event triggers > Listeners to open the Listeners tab.
  3. Click Create Listener.
    The Create Listener modal appears.
  4. Enter an appropriate name for the listener in Name.
  5. Optional: Enter an appropriate description in Description.
  6. Click Create to create the listener URL.
    The system generates the listener URL, which appears in the Listeners table.
