The Save as action enables you to save the active presentation to a new path or format. Use it to create a copy, rename the file, or export the presentation as PDF.

Settings

  • Session name: Select one of the following options:
    • Session name: Enter the name of the session used during the Open action.

      (Optional) Click the Insert a value icon to select an existing variable that you have used to store the default session name.

    • Variable: Enter the name of the variable that you have used to store the PowerPoint session name.
  • File path: Specify the destination path for the saved file.
    Note: Files with .ppt, .pptx, and .pdf extension are supported.
  • Overwrite file (Optional): Select this option to replace an existing destination file.
