Insert table action

The Insert table action enables you to insert a table from a table variable into the current slide or a specified slide and returns the table shape name. Use it to present structured data in slides.
Settings
- Session name: Select one of the following options:
- Session name: Enter the name of the session used
during the Open
action.
(Optional) Click the Insert a value icon to select an existing variable that you have used to store the default session name.
- Variable: Enter the name of the variable that you have used to store the PowerPoint session name.
- Session name: Enter the name of the session used
during the Open
action.
- Insert position: Select one of the following options to specify where
to insert the table:
- Current slide: Inserts the table in the current slide.
- Specific slide: Specify the source slide index to insert the table.
- Table title: Specify a unique title for the table.
- Table position: Specify the table position:
- Horizontal: Specify the horizontal position in centimeters from the top-left corner.
- Vertical: Specify the vertical position in centimeters from the top-left corner.
- Table size: Specify the table size:
- Height: Specify the height of the table in centimeters.
- Width: Specify the width of the table in centimeters.
- Lock aspect ratio: Select this option to ensure that the table keeps its original proportions while resizing.
- Cell size: Specify the cell size to resize the cell:
- Row height: Specify the height of the row in centimeters.
- Column width: Specify the width of the column in centimeters.
- Table: Specifies the source Automation Anywhere table variable to
insert; required; must be a Table variable.
- Table: Enables you to manually create and edit a table. Click Edit table (1x1) to open the table editor to add or edit the number of rows and columns.
- Variable: Enter the variable name that you have used for the data table. Click the Insert a value icon to create a data table variable.
- Include column header: Select this option if you want to include the source table column headers in the inserted table.
- Assign output to variable: Create or choose a String variable to store the name of the created table.
