Use Prompt Templates in a Task Bot (Citizen Developer)

This is the final step in the process of using a predefined Prompt Template in your automation. You created a Model connection, then a Prompt Template and connected the two, and finally you would add the Generative AI Prompt Template package > Execute action to your automation.

A Citizen Developer, would use the Prompt Templates made available to them in the Generative AI Prompt Template package, and use them in their automation.
注: Pro Developer could also perform this task.

前提条件

The Citizen Developer would require these roles and permissions to create, edit, and run automations, and also view and access the Generative AI Prompt Template package.
  • Role: AAE_Basic, Citizen Developer Custom role
  • Permission: Bot Creator

Other requirements:

Besides the roles and permissions you would require the following:
  • If you are going to run bots in a different environment than the one you created them in, then as a prerequisite step, you would have to migrate the bots along with the Prompt Template dependencies. For details see Exporting a Prompt Template.
  • To test a Model connection, you must be connected to a Bot Agent (v22.60.10 and above). As part of the test, you would have to run the bot on your desktop. Hence ensure the Bot Agent is configured to your user. If you have to switch connection to a different Control Room, see: Control Room インスタンス間でのデバイス登録の切り替え.

手順

  1. Log-in to the Control Room and navigate to Automation > Create new or ‘+’ icon and choose Task Bot. You can also access an existing Task Bot to edit and add the Generative AI Prompt Template > Execute action.
  2. Provide a name and description and click Create & edit to display an automation outline in the Bot editor.
  3. With your assigned roles and permissions, permissions, you have access to all relevant packages and actions. In addition, based on your custom role, you would also have access to the Generative AI Prompt Template package. See Generative AI Prompt Template package for package details.

  4. To understand how to build a bot, see: オートメーションをビルドするための Bot editor
注: When you run an automation with the Generative AI Prompt Template > Execute action, in the Bot editor, the success or failure details along with the prompt template execution and responses can be viewed in Administration > Audit log and Administration > AI governance navigation. See AI governance.

次のステップ

After creating and testing the automation, you might want to move it to the production environment for execution. In this scenario, refer to Bot Lifecycle Management to understand the concept of exporting and importing bots and moving them across environments.
注: You would have to export the bot along with the Prompt Template dependencies. For details see Exporting a Prompt Template.
