The following steps explain Google Chromesetup to use Automation Anywhere Narada for UI Agents.

Pre-requisite: Google Chrome should be pre-installed in the machine where UI Agents will run.

Procedure

  1. From your command prompt (terminal), run the following command to launch Google Chrome:
    • Windows

      start chrome.exe --user-data-dir=C:\Users\<username>\.config\narada\user-data-dirs\default --profile-directory=Default

    • Mac OS /Applications/Google\ Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google\ Chrome --user-data-dir="/Users/<username>/.config/narada/user-data-dirs/default" --profile-directory=“Default”

    Note: Replace <username> with the username logged into the runtime machine.

  2. Sign in to Chrome, using credentials provided by Automation Anywhere.
    Note: If you have no credentials, your Automation Anywhere Account Manager or CSM can provide credentials.

  3. If asked to create a separate work profile, select No.
  4. Click continue until Google.com displays in the search bar. Confirm that you are logged in the top right corner.

  5. Open the following link and click Add to chrome to install the Narada chrome extension. https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/enterprise-narada-ai-assi/bhioaidlggjdkheaajakomifblpjmokn?pli=1
  6. Click Continue with Google. This should automatically use the credentials used to login into Google Chrome. If not, use the same credentials as your manual login.
  7. Select the appropriate account.
    Demonstrates selecting the same account for Narada as used for Google.
    You have successfully set up Narada.
  8. You can now close this Google Chrome browser.
