Use the intuitive License dashboard to effectively monitor and analyze the usage of Automation 360 licenses.
The License dashboard in the Automation Command Center (ACC) offers a comprehensive view and analysis of Automation 360 license usage. It includes various widgets that provide detailed analytics based on automation run-times, all within an easy-to-navigate and intuitive dashboard.

You must have View licenses and View users and roles basic permissions to view the License dashboard.
Key features
This dashboard is designed to monitor Automation 360 license usage with an easy-to-use interface. It offers several important features to help users understand and make the best use of their licenses. The key features include:
- License usage categories: Shows how different users are using licenses on the platform. The license usage is divided into four categories: Not used, Low, Medium, and High.
- Detailed user insights: Provides specific information about users to better understand how licenses are used. It is more useful for under-utilized licenses, letting you view why some users are not using their licenses optimally. With the clickable charts, you can drill down into specific license type and usage category for selected time duration. For more details, see Time filter.

Data export: Exports the license usage data in CSV format for further analysis or reporting.
- Trend Analysis: Monitors license usage trends over time to improve resource management. With the license usage trend analysis, you can take corrective action such as checking why the licenses are not being used.

License utilization: Provides license allocation information for all users and all Control Room instances. It also provides details of purchased license counts and available licenses. This widget helps you to understand the available capacity, drive optimal utilization of the licenses, and deliver value.
- Bot Creator Analytics: Analyzes bot-creator license usage based on logins, new automations, check-ins, and check-outs.

With the intuitive design, the license dashboard is easy to navigate, making it accessible to users. The interface is designed to present complex data in a clear and concise manner, facilitating quick decision-making.
- Integration capabilities: The dashboard seamlessly integrates with
existing Automation 360 platform allowing for the consolidation of
data and providing a comprehensive view of license usage across the Control Room. This integration ensures that users have access to
the most current and accurate data for decision-making.
For example, based on number of logins to the Control Room, the Bot creator usage widget shows top 5 bot creators. Also, you can view the overall license usage in and across Control Room using the License utilization widget.
- Actionable insights: The dashboard provides actionable insights based on
the analysis of license usage patterns. These insights help decision-makers to
optimize license procurement and allocation, ensuring that resources are
utilized efficiently and cost-effectively.
For example, if you want to view license usage details for Unattended license type with Low usage category, you can use the Usage distribution widget.
- Comprehensive reporting: Users can generate detailed reports that
summarize license usage patterns, trends, and insights. These reports can be
customized to include specific metrics and time frames, exporting valuable
information into a CSV file for audits, strategic planning, and performance
evaluations.
For example, after generating license details using the Usage distribution widget, you can drill down into the usage type and use the Export items to CSV option to export all or filtered items (license details).
- Real-time updates: The dashboard provides real-time data updates,
ensuring that you always have access to the latest information regarding license
usage. This feature is crucial for making timely decisions and adjustments to
license management strategies.
For example, if you want to generate license usage data on 3rd February for last 30 days, the dashboard shows data for last 30 days excluding present day that is till 2nd February only.
- Trend analysis: This feature allows proactive management of licenses,
preventing over or under utilization of licenses, and ensuring compliance with
licensing agreements.For example, if a bot starts on 2nd February and ends on 3rd February, the duration of the bot is logged for 3rd February.Note: If a bot does not have an end date, that bot will not be considered in trend analysis.
