Upgrade changes in code analysis policy for Automation 360 v.28 or later versions
For Automation 360 v.28 or later versions, there is a change in how policies are managed for code analysis. Advanced policy management provides the flexibility to gradually introduce code quality standards on existing and older projects, and apply firmer standards on newer projects.
If you have configured a code analysis policy in Automation 360 v.27 or earlier, this policy is migrated to a named policy in Automation 360 v.28 or later versions. This preserves any previously configured policy as a named policy, so you can use it with the new named policies feature in Automation 360 v.28.
See Code analysis policy management.
The new named policy will be named default policy and will be applied to the Automation page root folder. This policy is applicable to all automation code in all the folders. This is similar to the single policy feature in Automation 360 v.27 and earlier. You can make edits to restrict the default policy to a few folders or automations, and make changes to the enabled rules and their severity.
