Assign file action in Google Drive

The Assign file action enables you to assign a file variable to a file available in your Google Drive location. You can use this file variable in any subsequent actions within the session without downloading and uploading the file.
Settings
The following settings are available in the Assign file action:
- Username
- Enter the same username that you provided in the Connect action.
- Select file access method
- Enter the details of the file that you must map to a file variable. Select and configure
one of the following options:
- File name (with location): Enter the file
path of the file.
For example, <MyFolder/MyFile.doc>, where <MyFolder> is the folder name in the home folder of Google Drive and <MyFile.doc> is the file that you must map to a file variable.
- File ID: Enter the ID of the file.
In Google Drive home folder, select the file you want to access and then click Copy link. The copied link is available in the following format: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19P7ddR2oOeULv4SisljusDPrUlkipwGn/view?usp=drive_link, where 19P7ddR2oOeULv4SisljusDPrUlkipwGn is the file ID.
Note: Use the File ID option if you are accessing a file that is located in a shared folder.
- File name (with location): Enter the file
path of the file.
- Assign file to a variable
- Select an existing file variable or create a file variable to map the Google Drive file.
