  • You must have Export bots, View package, and Check in or Check out permissions to the required folders.
  • Ensure that you have the View content rights at the folder level from which you want to export the template.
  • To export the templates from one Control Room to another, both Control Room instances must be the same version.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Control Room.

A list of available templates and automations is displayed.
  3. In the public workspace, use one of the following options to export templates:

    • Click the actions menu (vertical ellipsis), and then click Export Template.

The selected template as well as the required dependencies are displayed.

All selected templates are exported into a zip file.
If you have configured SMTP, an email is sent that contains a link to the zip file of the exported template. If you have not configured SMTP, perform the following steps to access the link to the zip file of the exported template:
    1. Navigate to Activity > Historical.
    2. Search and view the historical activity of the exported template.
    3. Click Download exported zip file.

A link to download the zip file is displayed.

    4. Use the link to download the zip file and save it to a location for importing it to another Control Room.
Note: If you are exporting a large size template or dependency, there might be a delay in the download of the export zip file from the Activity > Historical.
