Create shortcut action

The Create shortcut action enables you to create a shortcut of a folder at a specified location. As the folder shortcut is dependent on the source folder, any changes to the source folder is applied to the shortcut as well.

Settings

  • Use the Target location field to select one of the following tabs:
    • Desktop folder: Click Browse to select the folder that you want to create a shortcut for.
    • Variable: Enter or paste the filepath of the folder that you want to create a shortcut for.
  • Use the Shortcut location field to select one of the following tabs:
    • Desktop folder: Click Browse to select the folder where the folder shortcut must be created.
    • Variable: Enter the filepath where the folder shortcut must be created.
Note: Only the users with administrator role can create a shortcut of the source folder at a specified location.
