Create event action

The Create event action enables you to create an event with all supplied attributes on the specified macOS iCal calendar.
Settings
- Use the Session name field to select one of the following
tabs:
- Session name: Enter the session name that you used in the Connect action.
- Variable: Enter the variable that you have used to store the Apple calendar session.
- In the Calendar name field, enter the calendar name where you want to add the event.
- In the Title field, enter the name for the new event.
- (Optional) In the Invitees field, enter the email address of the invitees, separated by commas.
- (Optional) In the Location field, enter the event location.
- (Optional) Select the All day
event check box.
You can select this check box to create events that span the entire day without requiring specific start and end times.
- Use the Start date-time and End date-time drop-down menus to select an existing start and end date, and time for the calendar event.
- (Optional) In the Note field, enter any event related note as a reference.
- (Optional) In the Event URL, enter the URL of the event.
- In the Recurrence
rule field, click the Frequency drop-down
menu to select one of the following options:
- Never - Is the default setting and the event will not repeat.
- Daily - To set the event as a daily
recurrence.Use the following additional fields to customize the daily recurrence:
- In the Interval field, enter the
interval pattern.
For example, if you want the event to occur every two days or alternate day, enter 2.
- Use the End repeat field to select
one of the following options:
- By date - Click the drop-down menu to select an existing datetime variable or click the Create variable icon to create one.
- By count - Enter a numerical value to end the event recurrence or click the Insert a value icon to select an existing variable or global value.
- In the Interval field, enter the
interval pattern.
- Weekly - To set the event as a weekly
recurrence.Use the following additional fields to customize the weekly recurrence:
- Click the Days drop-down menu to select one or multiple days of the week.
- In the Interval field, enter the interval pattern.
- Use the End repeat field to set the end recurrence.
- Monthly - To set the event as a monthly
recurrence.Use the following additional fields to customize the monthly recurrence:
- Click the Days drop-down menu to select the number of days.
- In the Interval field, enter the interval pattern.
- Use the End repeat field to set the end recurrence.
- Yearly - To set the event as a yearly
recurrence.Use the following additional fields to customize the yearly recurrence:
- Click the Months drop-down menu to select one or multiple months.
- Click the Days drop-down menu to select the number of days.
- In the Interval field, enter the interval pattern.
- Use the End repeat field to set the end recurrence.
