You can use an existing AI Agent template to quickly create a new AI Agent in . This helps standardize configurations and accelerate development.

Prerequisites

  • These tasks are performed by a Bot Creator or Citizen Developer license user.
  • You must have Check in and Check out permissions on the folders where the template resides.
  • Setting: Administration > Settings > AI Data Management > Data logging settings must be enabled. The Automation Admin can enable this setting for the Pro Developer. For more information, see Enable data logging.

You can create a new AI Agent by selecting a prebuilt template from the Automation page. This option simplifies creating consistent agents based on proven templates.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Control Room.
  2. On the left navigation panel, click Automation.

    Click Create > From template.

  3. In the Create from template window, select the AI Agent tab.
    The available templates are displayed as tiles.
  4. Click the desired template tile and then click Continue.
    The tile is highlighted, and the Continue button becomes active.
  5. In the Create AI Agent dialog, enter the required details:
    1. Name: Enter a name for the new AI Agent.
    2. Destination folder: Click Choose and select a repository location to save the agent.
  6. Click Create & Edit.
    The new AI Agent file is created and opens in edit mode.
  7. Optional: Click the View file icon (binoculars) on a template tile to preview it.
    The template opens in read-only mode in the editor. Hovering over the icon displays a tooltip with the repository path.
