Automator AI v.32 release

Review what's new in Automator AI for the v.32 release.

What's new

More platform features recognized by prompts for the Process Composer.

Developers can use natural language to build and include API tasks, Approval tasks, and Document Automation in process automation. This increases potential for developers to describe sophisticated processes with simple prompts.

Standard conditions (boolean, string, datetime, numeric) can be described in prompts to easily branch and structure automation flow when building process automation.

Co-Pilot for Automators in Process Composer

Update properties of an existing node using prompts in the Process Composer

By detailing properties to be changed and the node to apply the changes, users can make certain updates to a node through a natural language prompt in a process automation (not all properties supported). This can be used to attach downstream dependencies and edit any conditions for tasks like bot, form, approval, and more.

Known limitations in Process Composer

Conditions of loop and if/else actions recognized in prompts for the Bot editor.

Developers can use natural language to describe the conditions of loop and if/else actions for bot automation. This enhances capabilities for developers to easily specify the behavior of the bot with a simple prompt.

Co-Pilot for Automators in Bot Editor

Variables recognized in prompts for the Bot editor.

Developers can reference variables when crafting prompts to build and edit bot automation, using the established variable tag (ex. $variable_name$). This enables developers to describe data consumption with natural language.

Learning Instance support in a process task using Co-Pilot for Automators.

When you enter a prompt in the Co-Pilot chat window that refers to a document extraction or data processing task from documents, the system can detect the relevant learning instance referenced in Document Automation, and create a process outline in the Process Composer. The process is auto-populated with the referenced learning instance details.

Support for learning instance in process task

Limitations

When entering a prompt if folder exists, Co-Pilot generates the condition as if folder does not exist.

Workaround: Edit the condition manually.

Automation Co-Pilot
Improvements have been made to the Co-Pilot for Automators dialog box and messages to more easily identify subtle details. The contrast between user and system messages include: Co-Pilot chat bubble includes a sparkle icon, time data is in 12-hour format, date data is after time, help text is lighter in color.
Dialog box displays sparkle icon for generated responses.
