Save email action in Microsoft Outlook (macOS) package

Use the Save email action in the Microsoft Outlook (macOS) package to save an email as an EML file to a folder.

Settings

Note: Ensure that you use this action within a Loop action.
  • In the Session name field, enter the session name that you have used in the Connect action.
  • Enter the location where you want to save the email in Save emails to folder.
Note: When you save an email, the email is saved with filename as the subject of the email. If you have multiple emails with the same subject line, a counter variable will be added to differentiate them, helping you easily identify the email when you view or search for it later.

For example: - Email 1 subject line: Automation Anywhere-Mandatory training invitation, Email 2 subject line: Automation Anywhere-Mandatory training invitation.

In this case, the email will be saved as:
    • Automation Anywhere-Mandatory training invitation (1)
    • Automation Anywhere-Mandatory training invitation (2)

The Save emails to folder is not case sensitive.

  • (Optional): Clear the Overwrite file(s) check box if you do not want to overwrite any existing files in the folder.

The Overwrite file(s) option is enabled by default.
