Check if folder exists action in Microsoft 365 Outlook package
Use the Check if folder exists action in the Microsoft 365 Outlook package to verify if a specific folder is available in the Microsoft Outlook server.
Settings
- In the Microsoft 365 Outlook
session field, click one of the following tabs:
- Session name: to enter the session name that you have used in the Connect action.
- Variable: to specify a session variable that can be used to share that session with other child bots.
- In the Folder name field,
enter the name of the folder you want to verify in your Microsoft 365 Outlook inbox.Note: Review the following conditions for the Folder name field:
- Is not case sensitive.
- Regular expressions are not supported.
- Use \ (backslash) to specify a nested folder
path.
For example, inbox\folder1
- In the Save the outcome to
variable field, select a Boolean variable to store the output of the
action.Note: The Control Room shows a descriptive default variable name. If you create several output variables, subsequent variable names are appended with a -1, -2, -3, and so on to avoid duplication
