Using the Document element

Use the Document element in the form builder to render a document that you want to preview with a form.

You can only use one Document element in a form. Files supported are PDF and image file types, such as JPG and PNG.

Note: Because of the security restrictions that modern browsers apply towards accessing local files, uploading a document to Automation Co-Pilot or Document Automation storage is a prerequisite to use files in web forms (such as displaying it in a Document element). Therefore to display local files, we recommend that you use an Interactive Form in an attended bot. When designing a web form, the default local file path is not applicable.

Procedure

  1. On the left pane, click Automation.
A list of available bots and forms is displayed.
  2. Click an existing form or click Create new > Form.

    The form builder page appears.

  3. Drag Document into the form.
  4. Enter the correct URL or the document location address in the Default file field.
