Add activity types

Add activity types to track the status of your opportunity at each stage (Idea, Pipeline, In-Progress, and Deployed). This helps identify and address limitations at any stage of the opportunity as well as maintain transparency.

Prerequisites

You must have an administrator role.

Procedure

  • Add activity type for opportunity.
    1. Navigate to the Admin-Program tab.
    2. In the Activity Types section, click the Plus icon to add an activity type.
    3. The Parent field has the name of your CoE Manager instance by default.
    4. Provide the name of your activity.
    5. Click Create.
  • Assign activity type to an opportunity.
    1. Select and navigate to an opportunity in Pipeline, In Progress, or Deployed stage.
    2. Click the Activities tab.
    3. Click Add Automation Activity.
    4. Provide a name for the activity.
    5. Select the activity type from the drop-down menu.
      The activity types created in the Admin-Program tab are displayed.
    6. Select the status of your activity from the drop-down menu.
    7. Provide the activity start date and due date.
    8. Click Create.
      The status of the opportunity displays in the list or Gantt chart format depending on the view type selected in the Admin-Program > Show Oppty Activities as tab.
    Note:
    • You can export the activity type list in excel or csv format by clicking the Settings icon in the Activity Types tab.
    • You can bulk edit the activity type names.
