Set cell action
The Set cell action enables you to set a value into an Active or Specific cell within a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or a CSV file.
Settings
- Double-click or drag the Set cell action from the Excel advanced package in the Actions palette.
- Use the Cell option field to select one of the
following:
- Active cell: to select a cell from the Excel sheet that you have specified in the Session name field.
- Specified cell: to specify the address of the cell from
the Excel sheet.Note: You can enter a cell range in the Specified cell field to set a particular value. For example, to set a value of 5 in all cells in the second row and from the first through third column, enter A2:C2.
- In the Cell value field, enter the value that you want to set.
- Enter the name of the session used to open the workbook with the Open action.
- Click Save.
