Highlights of this release

Here are the top features in the v.36 release:

AI Governance: Ensuring trust and compliance for AI adoption
Agentic Process Automation must be secure, ethical, and compliant. With this release, we are introducing AI Guardrails, a robust governance framework that allows enterprises to safely adopt generative AI while protecting data privacy and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • AI Guardrails: Enforce enterprise-wide controls to mitigate risks in large language model (LLM) powered automation.
  • Intelligent data masking: Automatically detect and replace sensitive data before it reaches AI models, ensuring privacy without losing context.
  • Toxicity monitoring: Prevent harmful or non-compliant AI-generated content, safeguarding brand reputation and regulatory compliance.
  • Audit trail for compliance: Maintain full transparency with logged AI governance actions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Note: These AI Governance capabilities require the AI guardrail and Enterprise Platform licenses, and are available for public cloud users. See Enterprise Platform.

AI Agent Studio: Supporting more reliable AI
AI is only as powerful as the trust behind it. With this release, we are introducing system prompts, allowing organizations to fine-tune enterprise-grade LLMs to align with business policies, ethical guidelines, and industry best practices as well as new support for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) models from Microsoft Azure OpenAI.
  • System prompts for LLMs: Shape AI behavior to ensure responses are consistent, reliable, and aligned with your enterprise objectives.
  • Improved responses with Microsoft Azure RAG: Strengthen accuracy and consistency of responses when utilizing organizational data referenced when using genAI models provided by Microsoft Azure.
Note: These features require the Enterprise Platform license. See Enterprise Platform.

Document Automation Test Mode: Accelerating learning instance development
AI-driven document processing just got smarter. Document Automation Test Mode introduces new tools to speed up learning instance development, optimize testing, and improve accuracy.
  • 30% faster reprocessing: Cached artifacts enable documents to load and process significantly faster during iterative testing.
  • Iterative testing and version history: Build learning instances in a dedicated test mode. View documents side-by-side with expected results. Track all changes for transparency and reproducibility.
  • Results history and side-by-side comparisons: Store extraction results for each version, allowing developers to retrieve and compare different versions quickly. This enables precise tuning of models, ensuring consistency and accuracy before deploying automation at scale.
Note: This feature requires the Document Automation license. See Understanding licenses in Document Automation.

API Tasks: Driving scalable, cloud-native automation
Scalability is the foundation of modern enterprise automation. With new enhancements, we are making long-running workflows more adaptive, responsive, and seamlessly integrated across global operations. These new capabilities enable faster, more intelligent cloud automation, helping enterprises scale operations efficiently and seamlessly integrate AI Agents across processes.
  • Web triggers expansion: Web triggers are now supported within API Tasks, enabling serverless event processing as well as automation deployment.
