Data extraction using generative AI
Extract data using generative AI's out-of-the-box solution: Generative AI's data extraction provides an easy-to-implement solution that simplifies the process of building custom models. With enhanced accuracy and seamless integration, a Document Automation admin can extract data from a supply chain and free-form text documents to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Generative AI packages
Use our new Generative AI package containing native integrations with hyperscaler LLMs: With the Generative AI package, developers can easily use large language models (LLMs) within Automation 360 to build out their automations. Supported LLMs include:

Developer experience enhancements
Use automation templates to quickly build automations: Professional and Citizen developers can quickly and easily build automations by selecting from a list of predefined templates. Additionally, Professional developers can create custom templates to build automations for specific business use cases.

Improve productivity from a simplified and more intuitive recording experience: Professional and Citizen developers can now start a recording directly from the business application. You no longer need to identify the target business application from a list of application titles opened on a local machine. Additionally, you gain enhanced real-time visibility and control of the recording. You can:
  • Review recorded actions and images of the recorded UI elements.
  • Traverse through those recorded actions.
  • Take actions in the midst of the recording.

Simplified recording experience

Important: The simplified Recorder feature is not available out of the box and can be enabled on an on-demand basis. Contact your Automation Anywhere Account team for assistance.
Use the Automation Command Center personalized homepage: Professional and Citizen developers can now use the Automation Command Center (ACC) to quickly access automations from a personalized homepage. Automation information is presented on a concise and easily accessed dashboard, which also includes direct links to the Pathfinder Community and AAU for any additional help.

Improve troubleshooting with ability to log user-defined variables: Professional developers can now log user-defined variables to a log file to quickly diagnose and fix any automation issues that might occur.

Multi-user processes with approvals
Automate complex processes with hand-offs and approvals in a single process: Using Process Composer, process builders can easily automate complex processes that span across multiple users and require complex hand-offs (such as group approval) in a single process.

Enterprise security updates
Customize system roles for increased cybersecurity protection: Based on your organization's requirements, you can now define and configure customized roles with greater granularity to align permissions using the principles of least privileges. You are no longer restricted to using predefined system roles provided by Automation 360.

Configure network proxy for outgoing communication from the Control Room: The Control Room now supports the ability to configure a network proxy. For example, a Control Room admin can configure a network proxy to enable communication between the license module in the Control Room and a Cloud-hosted license server.

OAuth 2.0 support for SaaS application: With centralized token lifecycle management and OAuth connections, shared or user-specific OAuth tokens are securely stored in credential vaults. These tokens are retrieved during automation runtime when you configure OAuth-based authentication. The Control Room validates the refreshed tokens before the automation runs.

OAuth 2.0 support for REST Web Services: The REST Web Services package now supports OAuth 2.0 authentication using a centralized OAuth token from the Control Room. Professional developers can integrate any third-party applications requiring OAuth 2.0 authentication using REST APIs while complying with the organization's security standards and policies.

  • We have released an updated Build 19678 (On-Premises) which contains the following:
    • Fix for the Apache ActiveMQ remote code execution vulnerability. For more information, see Apache ActiveMQ Remote Code Execution Vulnerability CVE-2023-46604 (A-People login required).
    • Fix for cache-related issues. Ensure that you have initialized the Apache Ignite cache after installing Build 19678.

      To initialize the Apache Ignite cache, restart all your Automation 360 virtual machines and nodes after installing the build.

    • Fix for a checkout and export issue after updating bot with more meta data when folder name and bot names are similar.

    • Fix for an issue that caused certain forms, variable mapping and bot paths to break during process import.
    • Fix for an issue where after deleting one of the element in a process will result in deleting the completed element and replacing it with Go to element.

    • Fix for an issue where API Task runs were not updating their status in the Co-pilot widget.
    • Fix for an issue where APIaaS Devices were inadvertently removed when updating the API Device pool due to a stale UI.
    • Fix for an issue when (for a few instances) importing bots from one Control Room to another resulted in an error.

    • Fix for an issue where users with specific roles in existing teams could create requests but were unable to access tasks within those requests.
