Cloud storage usage
This topic describes the cloud storage usage details based on the file size that you upload.
Cloud storage usage details
You can use the Select File element to upload files that are stored on the cloud. However to store these files on the cloud, the files must meet the following specific requirements:
Cloud storage quota
The files uploaded by users are based on the maximum file and storage sizes. The
cloud storage quota consists of the following:
- The file size for when a user uploads a file using the Select
File element cannot be greater than 50 MB.Important: The file limit is attached to a Select File element only; not to a request. Additionally, you can upload only one file for each Select File element. However, there is no limit to the number of Select File elements that you can add to a form.
- The cloud storage can store a maximum of 250 MB of data per tenant.Note: This is set by default. The storage limit is per tenant and not per user.
- The storage for each tenant is extended to an additional 1 GB for every Automation Co-Pilot for Business Users user license that is allocated in the tenant.Important: These storage restrictions are applied only to the process automation when used in Automation Co-Pilot use cases. However, there are no storage capacity restrictions for Automation Co-Pilot Desktop Assistant storage and use cases.
Retention Policy
The retention policy for files that are uploaded to the cloud storage is as follows:
File will be deleted 90 days after the time of the file upload.
When a request is deleted, the request and the associated file are permanently deleted
and not just sent to the recycle bin.
Note: The retention policy supports requests for
when one file, or multiple associated files have been deleted.
