Save spreadsheet action in Apple Numbers package
The Save spreadsheet action in the Apple Numbers package enables you to save the existing file or copy of your spreadsheet in the specified location.
Settings
- Use one of the following options to provide session name:
- Session name: Enter the name of the session used to open the spreadsheet with the Open action.
- Variable: Enter the session variable that you added in the Open action.
- Select any one of the following options to save the spreadsheet:
- Existing file: Saves the existing file.
- Save as copy: Perform the following steps to save
a copy of the spreadsheet:
- In the File path field, enter the location or click Browse to select the location where you want to save the current spreadsheet.
- If you have created a variable to store the file path, click Insert a value icon to select it.
- If you have a spreadsheet with the same name in the specified
location, select the Replace existing
file check box to replace it.Note: If the check box is selected, the existing file will be overwritten. If unchecked, a new file with a numeric suffix will be created, for example, File1.
