Mouse package updates

Review the updates in released versions of the Mouse package such as new and enhanced features as well as fixes and limitations. The page also lists the release dates of each version, and the compatible Control Room and Bot Agent versions.

  • To download an individual package (updated in an Automation 360 release where you want only the package), use this URL:

  • For Mouse package, the naming convention is: bot-command-mouse-<version.number>.jar

    For example, bot-command-mouse-2.15.0.jar

Fix
You no longer encounter issues when you create a bot using the Click action with the window type as Screen and have configured the following settings: Administration > Settings > Bots > Resiliency Settings > Ignore unexpected pop-ups to manage unexpected pop-ups while deploying the bots.

Previously, the bot execution failed with an error.

What's changed
Default time out and message for Mouse windows attribute
When you create an automation that contains Mouse actions to capture a UI element, (such as the screen or window), and if the target application is not responding, the bot times out after 30 seconds (default time) and displays a detailed message that includes:
  • Description of what went wrong at that line number
  • Corresponding corrective action to take
