Add LDAPS server certificate to a Windows server to use the Active Directory server connection with LDAPS.

Procedure

  1. To add the LDAPS server certificate into a Windows certificates (Trusted Root Certification Authorities) stores, Perform the following steps.
    1. Open a command window.
    2. Enter MMC to launch the console window.
    3. Select the Add/Remove Snap-in option from the File menu.
    4. Double-click Certificates option and then select My user account in the Certificates snap-in window.
    5. Click Finish.
    6. Click OK to return to the console window.
  2. Add the certificates to the Trusted Root Certification Authorities and Trusted Publishers folders.
    1. Double-click the Certificates name. In this case, double-click Certificates-Current User.
    2. Double-click the Trusted Root Certification Authorities > Certificates folder.
    3. On the right side of the page, click More Actions and select the Import option from the All Tasks menu.
      The Certificate Import Wizard is launched.
    4. Click Next.
    5. Click Browse and select the certificate that was saved.
    6. Click Next and select the option to place all certificates in a store.
    7. Click Next and click Finish to import the certificates.
      The certificate is imported successfully.
    8. Repeat the above steps to import certificates in the Trusted Publishers folder.
      The console window now shows the certificates imported for current user.
  3. Restart the Bot Agent device.
