Save attachments and Save all attachments actions in Microsoft Outlook (macOS) package

Use the Save attachments action in the Microsoft Outlook (macOS) package to save attachments from a specific email to a folder. Similarly use the Save all attachments action to save all the email attachments on Microsoft Outlook for macOS to a specific folder.

Settings

  • Save attachments
    Note: Ensure that you use this action within a Loop action.
    • In the Session name field, enter the session name that you have used in the Connect action.
    • In the Save attachments to folder field, enter the filepath of the folder where you want to save the email attachments.
    • (Optional): Clear the Overwrite file(s) check box if you do not want to overwrite any existing files in the folder.

      The Overwrite file(s) option is enabled by default.

  • Save all attachments
    • In the Session name field, enter the session name that you have used in the Connect action.
    • Enter the folder path in the From specific folders field to specify the folder from where you want to save the attachments.

      For example, Inbox\folder1;Inbox\folder2. Although multiple folder paths separated by semicolon are supported in this field, the regular expressions are not supported.

    • Use the Type of email to save field to select one of the following type of emails from where you want to save the attachments:
      • All: emails in Read and Unread status.
      • Read: emails that are in Read status.
      • Unread: emails that are in Unread status.
    • (Optional): Enter keywords separated by semicolons in the When subject contains field.

      The When subject contains field is case sensitive. When you enter keyword within double quotes (""), the bot retrieves all the emails where the subject matches the text and the case.

    • (Optional): Enter senders' email addresses separated by semicolons in the From specific senders field.
    • In the Save attachments to folder field, enter the filepath of the folder where you want to save the email attachments.
    • (Optional): Clear the Overwrite file(s) check box if you do not want to overwrite any existing files in the folder.

      The Overwrite file(s) option is enabled by default.
