Create file permission action in Google Drive
You can create a new permission for a file by using the Create file permission action.
Settings
Creates a new permission for a file.
- Enter the same username that you provided in the Connect action.
- Select whether to identify the file by file path
and name, or by ID. Note: The ID is the value in the URL after the last forward slash. For example, if the URL is
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12dlAwvrEA4JeLysfFky9
, the ID is12dlAwvrEA4JeLysfFky9
. - Select a role. For more information, see Google Drive Roles.
- Select the grantee type. Choose from:
- User
- Group
- Domain
- Anyone
- If you select User or Group, enter the email address. If you select domain, enter the domain.
- Optional: Select or create a variable to hold the permission ID.
