Save as action in the Apple Pages package
The Save as action enables you to save a copy of the current Pages document as a new file with a different name, format, or location. This action allows you to save the document to a new format, such as, docx, pdf, rtf, and epub.
Settings
- Use the Session name field to select one of the following
options:
- Session name: Enter the name of the session used
to open the presentation with the Open
action.
(Optional) Click the Insert a value icon to select an existing variable that you have used to store the default session name.
- Variable: Enter the name of the variable that you have used to store the session name.
- Session name: Enter the name of the session used
to open the presentation with the Open
action.
- Choose the format in which you want to save the new file:
- pages
- docx
- rtf
- epub
- In the File name field, specify the name of the new file in the selected format, without the extension.
- In the File path section, choose one of the available
tabs to define where the new file will be saved:
- Variable: Select this option to store the destination path in a variable. This allows the bot to save the file to a dynamic or configurable location.
- Desktop folder: Select this option to save the file directly to your Desktop.
- Optional: Select the Overwrite file(s) option to replace an existing file with the same name and extension in that location.
