Configure queue deployment

Configure the automation deployment queues in the Control Room in order to reduce automation failures and deployment delays caused by the default device downtime.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you are logged in to the Control Room as the administrator

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Administration > Settings > Deployment.
  2. In the Device down settings, click Edit.
  3. Select one of the following options to determine how the automations must be handled when the default device is down (Disconnected state):
    • Reject automation execution

      Is the default setting and ensures that none of the deployed automations are queued when the default Bot Runner device is down.

    • Add automation to queue

      Enables the automations to move into an execution queue so that they can be executed upon the default Bot Runner device recovery.

  4. Click Save changes if you alter the default setting.
  5. In the Deployment queueing settings, click Edit.
  6. Select one of the following options for moving the queued automations to historical activity:
    • Never

      Is the default setting and the queued automations will not be moved into Historical.

    • After in “Queued” status for

      To move the queued automations to Historical based on the time lines configured.

  7. Click Save changes if you alter the default setting.
    The deployment queue is configured based on the selected settings.
