Using the Close action
- Updated: 2025/09/16
Use the Close action to close the Word document that is open within a specific session and simultaneously end that session.
Settings
- Use the Session name field to select one of the following tabs for
specifying the session:
- Session name: Enter the name that you gave the session when you opened it.
- Variable: Select the variable that you have created to store the session name.
- (Optional) Select the Save changes before closing check box if you
want to save any changes made in the Word document before closing it.
If selected, all unsaved changes in the active document will be saved automatically. If not, the document will close without saving changes.
