Close action in the Apple Pages package
The Close action in the Apple Pages package enables you to close the current Pages file and end the session.
Settings
- Use the Session name field to select one of the following
options:
- Session name: Enter the name of the session used
to open the presentation with the Open
action.
(Optional) Click the Insert a value icon to select an existing variable that you have used to store the default session name.
- Variable: Enter the name of the variable that you have used to store the session name.
- Session name: Enter the name of the session used
to open the presentation with the Open
action.
- To save the file, select Save changes check box.Note: On macOS, Apple Pages automatically saves changes to existing documents when you close them, even if you do not select the Save changes option. The Save changes option is only necessary when closing a newly created document using Create document action to ensure your content is saved.
