Go to next empty cell action in Microsoft 365 Excel
The Go to next empty cell action in Microsoft 365 Excel package enables you to retrieve an empty cell address in a Microsoft 365 Excel workbook.
Settings
- Enter the name of the session used to open the workbook with the Open action.
- Use the Start from field to select one of the following
options:
- Active cell- To retrieve an empty cell that is available immediately after the currently active cell.
- Specific cell- To specify a cell by entering the
value in the Cell address field.
Optionally, click the Insert a value icon to select an existing variable that contains the address of a specific cell. Any empty cell that is available after this specified cell is retrieved.
- Use the Towards field to select one of the following
options:
- left - To retrieve an empty cell that is to the left of the specified cell.
- right - To retrieve an empty cell that is to the right of the specified cell.
- up - To retrieve an empty cell that is at the top of the specified cell.
- down - To retrieve an empty cell that is at the bottom of the specified cell.
- Click Save.
