Using the user-defined document type
Document Automation supports the user-defined model to enable data extraction from new document types that are not available in Document Automation. This is a commonly used extraction choice as it supports a wide range of documents like custom forms, legal contracts, proprietary document formats, hybrid document types, and regulatory documents.
Use user-defined model in the following scenarios:
- When pre-built models do not meet your business use case, such as when you want to extract data from documents that are not supported by the pre-built models.
- When you want to process proprietary documents.
This model uses one of the following extraction providers to extract data:
- Automation Anywhere extraction engine with generative AI
- Using this model provides the following benefits:
- Enables seamlessly customization and integration with your existing workflows
- Provides data privacy
- Enables cost saving by minimizing the need for additional licenses
- Google Document AI extraction engine
- Using this model provides the following benefits:
- Allows you to use any of your existing Google Document AI models without the need for creating a new model
- Allows you to use your existing Google Document AI bring your own license (BYOL) to integrate the models with Automation Anywhere
Using this model, you can create, define, and train learning instances that are specifically aligned with your business requirements.
