Using Hot key Trigger in Trigger loop Handle

You can use the Hot key trigger to trigger on key press events.

Prerequisites

In Automation Workspace, you added the Trigger loop Handle to your bot.

Procedure

  1. In the Trigger loop Handle, select Hot key in the Trigger on field.
    A list of options for the Hot key trigger will appear for you to configure.
  2. Select a modifier and key in the Hot key field.
    You can specify hot key with a list of available modifiers and keys that you can select.
    For modifiers
    • Win
    • Ctrl
    • Shift
    • Alt
    • AltGr
    For hot keys
    • Letters: This spans from letters A to Z.
    • Numbers: This spans from numbers 0 to 9.
    • Special Characters: This is a variety of special characters.
    • Controls: This is a variety of keyboard controls from Esc key to volume controls.
    • Numpad: This is a variety of numpad keys.
    • Function Keys: This spans from F1 to F12 keys.
    • Arrows: This is a variety of directional keys.
    • Multimedia Keys: This is a variety of functions for the browser and volume.
  3. Click Save to save your configuration.
    You have configured the hot key trigger for use with the trigger loop handle.
