Use the Connect action to establish a session with the Calendar application. Configure the following properties:
Considerations
An error is displayed if any of the following conditions are encountered when you
deploy your automation using the Connect
action:
- There is no user configured in Calendar application.
- User running the automation does not have permission to connect to the Calendar application.
Settings
- Use the Username to select one of the following options:
- List: Click the Refresh button to retrieve all user names configured in the Calendar application, and then select a user name from the drop-down menu.
- Variable: Enter a string value or select a variable of type Text to specify the user name.
- Use the Create session to select one of the following tabs to create
a session:
- Local session: To specify a session name that can be used only in the current automation.
- Global session: To specify a session name that can be used across multiple automations, such as parent and child.
- Variable: To specify or create a session variable.
Note: You can use non-English characters for the session name.
