Use the Connect action to establish a session with the Calendar application. Configure the following properties:

Considerations

An error is displayed if any of the following conditions are encountered when you deploy your automation using the Connect action:
  • There is no user configured in Calendar application.
  • User running the automation does not have permission to connect to the Calendar application.

Settings

  • Use the Username to select one of the following options:
    • List: Click the Refresh button to retrieve all user names configured in the Calendar application, and then select a user name from the drop-down menu.
    • Variable: Enter a string value or select a variable of type Text to specify the user name.
  • Use the Create session to select one of the following tabs to create a session:
    • Local session: To specify a session name that can be used only in the current automation.
    • Global session: To specify a session name that can be used across multiple automations, such as parent and child.
    • Variable: To specify or create a session variable.
    Note: You can use non-English characters for the session name.
