Set cell or text color action

The Set cell or text color action of the Google Sheets package enables you to set the color of the background or text in a cell. This action sets the color of a cell as RGB values. For example, if you want to set red color to the background or text in a cell, enter the value 255,0,0.

Settings

  • Enter the name of the session used to open the workbook with the Open spreadsheet action.
  • To set the color to the current active cell, select Active cell, to set the color to a specific cell, select Specific cell, or to set the color to multiple cells select Multiple cells.
    Note:
    • If you have selected the Specific cell option, specify the address of the cell in the Cell name field.
    • If you have selected Multiple cells option, specify the range of the cells in the Cell range field.
  • In the Set color to field, to apply color to the background area of the cell, select the Cell option. To apply color to the text within a specific cell, select the Text within cell option.
  • In the Cell color by Name/Code field, specify whether you want to set the cell color by name or as an RGB value or choose a variable that has the value.
