Configure legal disclaimer timeout for RDP-based deployment

Changing the default value for the legal disclaimer screen timeout enables the RDP-based deployment session to retry device access. You must configure the rdp.legal.disclaimer.max.attempts settings to change the default value.

Any user who has access to the device where the Bot Agent is installed can configure the rdp.legal.disclaimer.max.attempts settings and change the timeout value of the legal disclaimer screen.
Note: You can change the timeout value of the legal disclaimer screen by configuring therdp.legal.disclaimer.max.attempts settings only from Automation 360 v.30 release onwards.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Automation Anywhere\Bot Agent\config.
  2. Edit the nodemanager.properties file.
  3. Set the rdp.legal.disclaimer.max.attempts settings value to 20.
Note: If rdp.legal.disclaimer.max.attempts is not available, add it. The minimum value must be 1 when you are adding it manually, however there is no upper limit.
  4. Save the file and restart the Bot Agent service.
