You can add actions for a connector that will be used in the Bot editor or API Task editor to build automation workflow.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have created a custom connector. See Create custom connector.
Note: The Control Room prevents you from entering Authentication as an action name because it is a reserved name.

Procedure

  1. On the connector editor page, click Add action or click the plus (+) icon in the Actions section to add a new action.
  2. In the Add action pane, enter an appropriate name and description for the action.
    Note: The name and description that you enter will be used as the package name and description in the Bot editor and API Task after publishing the package.
  3. Click Add.
    The new action is displayed on the actions pane.
  4. Follow the steps in Configure action in connector editor to configure the actions.
