The Create Keynote file action in the Apple Keynote package enables you to generate a new Keynote presentation file. This action allows you to create a blank Keynote file as the starting point for building or automating presentations using other actions in the package, such as adding slides, text, images, or other content.

Settings

  • From the File path field select the Specific path option to specify the name and location of the file.
Note: Regex is current not supported.
  • In the Theme name field, specify the theme name for the new presentation. For example, Basic White.
Note: Select a theme from the list of options available locally on your Keynote dashboard.
  • Select the Show slide numbers on all slides option to add slide numbers to all the available slides.
  • In the Create session field, use one of the following tabs for creating a session:
    • Local session: to specify a session name that can be used only in the current bot.
    • Global session: to specify a session name that can be used across multiple bots, such as parent bots, child bots, and all other child bots of the parent bot.

Recommendation: The parent and child bots should have the same package version.

    • Variable: to specify a session variable.
