Save action in the Apple Pages package

The Save action enables you to save the current Pages document. This action ensures that all automated changes are preserved in the document.

Note: Use this action when you want to save changes to the newly created document using Create document action. Changes to existing Apple Pages documents are automatically saved when you close them.

Settings

Use the Session name field to select one of the following options:
  • Session name: Enter the name of the session used to open the presentation with the Open action.

    (Optional) Click the Insert a value icon to select an existing variable that you have used to store the default session name.

  • Variable: Enter the name of the variable that you have used to store the session name.
