Copy a learning instance when you want to preserve the configuration of an existing learning instance and to modify and test the learning instance.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you are using the Standard Forms model creator user to log in to the Control Room. See Document Automation users.

When you copy a learning instance in Standard Forms, you will be able to change the extraction model and copy the field attributes and validation rules from the new extraction model.

Procedure

  1. Log in to your Control Room.
  2. Navigate to AI > Document Automation.
  3. Find the Standard Forms learning instance that you want to copy, point to the vertical ellipsis (vertical ellipsis icon) icon (three dots), and click the copy (copy icon) icon.
  4. In the Copy Learning Instance window, enter an appropriate Name.
  5. Optional: In the Model section, click Browse and select an extraction model to update the extraction model.
  6. Optional: Select the following copy options:
    • Form and table field attributes: Select this option to copy form and table field attributes from the new extraction model.
    • Form and table field validation rules: Select this option to copy form and table validation rules from the new extraction model.
  7. Click Copy.
  8. If a configuration mismatch is detected between the existing and new extraction models, you will see the Review configuration changes window to review the changes.
    Review the configuration changes that will not be included in the new learning instance to be sure that the fields and rules will no longer be required.
  9. Click Confirm to accept the configuration changes and copy the learning instance.
