Generate a Box shared link for a file or folder with configurable access level, permissions, and optional expiration.

Settings

  • Use the Session name field to select one of the following options:
    • Session name: Enter the name of the session used to open the presentation with the Open action.

      (Optional) Click the Insert a value icon to select an existing variable that you have used to store the default session name.

    • Variable: Enter the name of the variable that you have used to store the session name.
  • Target type: Specify whether the shared link is created for a file or folder.
  • File/Folder ID: Specify the Box file ID or folder ID to share.
  • Access level: Specify the shared link access level. It is set to Open by default. You can select the following values: Open, company, and collaborators.
  • Can download (Optional): Specifies whether users can download the shared item. Defaults to false.
  • Can preview (Optional): Specifies whether users can preview the shared item. Defaults to false.
  • Link expiration (Optional): Specifies whether to enable link expiration. Defaults to false.
  • Assign output to a variable: Create or choose a String variable to store the table data.
