Enable bulk assignment and reassignment of tasks from the Tasks page in Co-Pilot Web to improve operational efficiency during peak processing periods. This feature allows authorized users to select multiple tasks and assign them to a single user in one action.

The current single-task assignment model creates bottlenecks during high-volume processing. This enhancement addresses a validated VOC from Shared Services Canada, with an estimated $200K cost avoidance, by reducing manual effort and improving workload distribution.

Prerequisites

  • You must logged into Co-Pilot Web.
  • You have a system-created AAE_Robotic_Interface Manager role for the Co-Pilot Manager or AAE_Robotic_Interface Administrator role for the Co-Pilot Administrator.
    Note: This feature is accessible to team manager and administrators only.
  • Tasks are available on the Tasks page
  • Tasks contain valid metadata (Process, Team)

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Automation Co-Pilot as Co-Pilot Manager or Co-Pilot Administrator.
  2. Navigate to the Tasks tab.
  3. Select the required tasks which have same Process and Team
    Note: System evaluates selected tasks and enables only tasks with the same Process and Team. The other tasks remain disabled.
  4. Click the Edit contributor icon.
  5. In the Edit contributor window, select the contributor from the drop-down list and click Save. Otherwise, click Cancel.
All the selected tasks are assigned to the selected contributor.
