Run automation in virtual desktop (PiP)

Use the settings in the Bot editor to run your private automations in virtual desktop using the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode.
Note: Virtual desktop pop-up will be closed when that automation
deployment completes successfully. Citizen Developers and Professional Developers will be redirected to the main session if they had
joined the virtual desktop session.
Run Task Bot
- Log into Control Room and click
Automations.
Available automations in the Private repository are listed.
- Hover over vertical ellipses (three dots) at the far right for the automaton
where you want to enable the virtual desktop, and click the Run Task
Bot icon.
The Run now screen is displayed.
- Click the General settings tab and select the Run in PiP mode check box.
- Click Run now.
Settings
- Open the Bot editor screen in the automation where you want to enable the virtual desktop in PiP mode.
- Click the vertical ellipses at the top and click Settings.
- Click the Run in PiP mode and then select the Run in PiP mode check box.
- Click Save.
Run-time options
- Open the Bot editor screen in the automation where you want to enable the virtual desktop in PiP mode.
- Click the Run-time options icon at the top.
- Click the Run in PIP-mode toggle to enable Virtual desktop.
- Click Save.
