Review the following prerequisites before you start the Automation Anywhere Cloud Service on AWS private cloud deployment process.

Note: Both deployment modes require a Automation 360 Enterprise Platform license.

For deployment mode 1

Before you deploy Automation Anywhere Cloud Service on AWS private cloud using deployment mode 1, make sure that you meet the following prerequisites.

  • One AWS account for API Task environment.
  • Administrator privileges for the API Task AWS account.
  • The API Task AWS account must be available in the same region as your Control Room AWS account.
  • Custom AWS CloudFormation stacks for Control Room and API Task environment. Use the downloaded templates to create these customized stacks.
    Note: Ensure that you deploy the CloudFormation stack in a region with three accessible availability zones. The us-west-1 region is not supported.
  • A wildcard sub-domain certificate.
    Create this certificate from AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) of the infrastructure AWS account. For more information about creating an AWS certificate, see AWS Certificate.
    Note: Ensure that the ACM certificate domain name and the CloudFormation template domain name are the same.

For deployment mode 2

Before you deploy Automation Anywhere Cloud Service on AWS private cloud using deployment mode 2, make sure that you meet the following prerequisites.

  • Two AWS accounts. One for Control Room and another for API Tasks environment.
  • Administrator privileges for both AWS accounts.
  • Both the AWS accounts must be available in the same region.
  • Custom AWS CloudFormation stacks for both AWS accounts. Use the downloaded templates to create these customized stacks.
    Note: Ensure that you deploy the CloudFormation stack in a region with three accessible availability zones. The us-west-1 region is not supported.
  • A wildcard sub-domain certificate.
    Create this certificate from AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) of the infrastructure AWS account. For more information about creating an AWS certificate, see AWS Certificate.
    Note: Ensure that the ACM certificate domain name and the CloudFormation template domain name are the same.
