RPA workspace overview
The RPA workspace dashboard provides visualization of metrics, navigation tools, and workitem-related information.
The workspace shows three areas:

1 | Navigation sidebar | Quick links to search, homepage, notifications, favorites, recently viewed, and navigation trees to help you navigate your App solution. Available on all pages. |
2 | Header | Consists of the page name, breadcrumb trail, participant avatars, and action menu.

3 | Work area | Contains tabs and sections that allow you to view and edit data. See RPA work item basics for details. |
Navigation sidebar
From the navigation sidebar, you can select the following:

Expand menu | Expands the navigation sidebar so you can view more details, or collapses to hide it for more workspace. |

Search | Search by item name or Shibumi ID number. |

Home | Navigates to the user’s homepage. |

Notifications | Notification page where a user’s notifications are grouped in an easy-to-navigate
mailbox. The number of new notifications will appear on the notifications icon. |

Favorites | List of items a user has marked as favorites. |
|
Recently viewed | The last 10 items that a user viewed. |

User preferences | Provides the ability to edit a user’s account (that is, change password). |

Help | Directs the user to help center information. |

Participant window
Click the participant avatars to see all of the people that have been invited to collaborate on the currently displayed work item. If you have sufficient permission, this list also allows you to invite additional collaborators to participate.
Roles
Participants are assigned to specific roles. The role a user has determines how the user interacts with the system. In Shibumi, all users have inherited permissions, that is, the permissions extend to a below level where they have access. In the RPA Accelerator, if a user is added at a program level, their permissions extend to all workstreams and opportunities. If a user is added to an opportunity, they are only able to access that opportunity and related activities, not the program or workstream.
The following table lists the available RPA Accelerator roles. Note that the permissions of these roles extend to all items underneath where they are added.
