Delete a process automation

As an Co-Pilot Admin or a user with Delete from Public permission, you can delete a process automation from the public workspace.

When deleting a process automation, consider the following:

  • You can delete process automations that have open requests.

After a process automation is deleted, you cannot access the process automation even if the requests still exist. The scheduled bots can still be executed, but the forms cannot be submitted. If you republish the same process automation, the old requests can be restored and team permissions can be created again.

  • You cannot delete checked-out process automations.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Control Room as an Co-Pilot Admin or a Bot Creator user.
  2. On the left pane, click Automation.
A list of available bots and forms is displayed.
  3. Select the process automation you want to delete, open the actions menu (vertical ellipsis), and click Delete process.
You must first delete the process automation before you can delete the bots or forms within the process automation.
  4. Select Yes, delete to confirm.
When the process automation is deleted from the public workspace, it is removed from the process management page in the web interface. Additionally, if the process automation is already assigned to any Co-Pilot User or team, access is removed after the process automation is deleted from the public workspace.
