Support for learning instance in process task

When you enter a prompt in the Co-Pilot chat window that refers to a data extraction or data processing task from documents, the system can detect the relevant learning instance process in Document Automation and add the task to a process in the Process Composer with the details.

This feature can automate creating a process in the Process Composer referencing a single or multiple learning instances based on the data processing task required.

Let us go over a use case to understand how the feature works.

A customer had made an online purchase from the Walmart store and would like to return the items as they do not meet requirements. The customer has reached out to the customer service agent, starting the return process. The customer service agent will run a process automation that has been created in the Automation Anywhere Process Composer to run the return process.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure there's a learning instance created in Document Automation configured to extract receipt data from Walmart receipts with the learning instance name Walmart.
  • You have permission to access the learning instance.
  • You have Co-Pilot for Automators license to access and use the Co-Pilot feature.

These are steps for creating a process for this use case using Co-Pilot for Automators.

Procedure

  1. Log-in to the Control Room with a valid user account and navigate to Automation > Create new > Process.
  2. Enter the name Extract receipt information and the folder where you want your process to be saved. Click Create & edit to display the process outline in the Process Composer with the start and end elements.
  3. Click the Co-Pilot button or click Assistant > Co-Pilot to open the chat window.
  4. In the chat window, enter this prompt: Create a process to extract details from Walmart receipts. If approved, send an email. and click Send or use the Ctrl+Enter shortcut key when you are done.
  5. Automation Co-Pilot analyzes the prompt, and generates the process outline with the correct Walmart learning instance reference.
Process refers to the correct learning instance from Document Automation
Based on the process automation created in the Process Composer with Co-Pilot for Automators, the Extract receipt data node referencing the Walmart learning instance with details displays in the panel to the right. The Input value fields for the learning instance are specific to Document Automation.
  6. You can provide feedback to Automation Co-Pilot by clicking Yes or No.
  7. You can also edit the process further by entering additional prompts describing process nodes you want to add.
  8. Review your process automation, save it, and test it to ensure that it works as expected.
